Carlson’s market focus includes Mission Critical, Light Industrial, and Commercial sectors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Atlanta, GA, and includes some travel </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your key responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead development of design solutions on projects of limited complexity</li>\n <li>Prepare structural analyses and perform engineering calculations</li>\n <li>Support the Structural Team Lead on sophisticated projects</li>\n <li>Prepare schematic designs, Construction Documents, and specifications</li>\n <li>Ensure completeness and accuracy of Construction Documents</li>\n <li>Coordinate with other disciplines</li>\n <li>Review shop drawings and submittals</li>\n <li>Conduct field inspections and condition assessments</li>\n <li>Prepare technical reports</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>To qualify for the role, you must have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BSCE in Structural Engineering from an accredited institution</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience</li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)</li>\n <li>Proficiency in structural analysis software (RAM structural suite, preferred), AutoCAD, and Revit  </li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills</li>\n <li>Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam</li>\n <li>Understanding of model codes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EEO/AA Employer M/F/D/V</h2>\n<p>Carlson Design Group is an equal opportunity employer.
