We develop complex, radiation effects mitigated, designs that balance competing requirements in modern space programs, delivering cutting-edge solutions that enable our customers to achieve more in space.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Trident is seeking a highly capable Senior DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation, and modernization of software and embedded systems environments across mission-critical aerospace and defense programs. This role will drive CI/CD, infrastructure automation, system reliability, and DevOps process improvement across engineering teams.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Lead and support DevOps initiatives across software, embedded, and infrastructure environments.</li><li>Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting embedded and cloud-based development workflows.</li><li>Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and testing using Infrastructure as Code and scripting tools.</li><li>Administer and optimize DevOps toolchains including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Grafana, and Prometheus.</li><li>Support Linux and Windows development/test systems, Azure-based infrastructure, networking, authentication, patching, and monitoring solutions.</li><li>Develop automated deployment strategies for virtualized, containerized, and embedded hardware environments.</li><li>Collaborate with software, IT, security, and program teams to improve development, release, deployment, and compliance processes.</li><li>Maintain engineering tool licensing, user access, backups, documentation, dashboards, and operational metrics.</li><li>Support modernization efforts including application refactoring, cloud migration activities, and adoption of modern DevOps practices.</li><li>Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s and/or Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.&nbsp;</li><li>6+ years of related experience with a bachelor&rsquo;s degree (OR 4+ years with a master&rsquo;s degree)</li><li>Experience leading integration and production activities.</li><li>Experience in supporting DevOps tools and associated pipeline environments such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Zephyr, and Artifactory.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in Linux system administration and Git.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with automation strategies through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.&nbsp;</li><li>Scripting and/or coding skills (Java, Python, Bash, etc.).&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>CompTIA Security+ certification.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience creating product verification and validation plans.</li><li>Experience with Azure services (VMs, Blob Storage, SQL dbs etc.)</li><li>Experience working with Container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).</li><li>Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in system platform maintenance (STIGs, compile dependencies, etc.).</li><li>Experience in database administration (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with Information Security frameworks/standards (CIS, NIST, RFC2196, etc.).&nbsp;</li><li>Azure Solutions Architect &ndash; Associate or Professional.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to obtain a Security Clearance&nbsp;<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Benefits&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including but not limited to:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Health benefits<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Medical&nbsp;</li><li>Dental&nbsp;</li><li>Vision</li><li>Basic life with AD&amp;D</li><li>Short term disability</li><li>Long term disability</li><li>Ancillary (Voluntary life with AD&amp;D, accident, critical illness, hospital, and pet)</li><li>Spending accounts (HSA, FSA, and DCFSA)</li></ul></li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Holidays</li><li>401(k) (including company match)</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Leaves (Parental, maternity, and military)</li><li>Annual discretionary bonus (for eligible roles)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>Trident Systems reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position.&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>Trident Solutions is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
