          "text": "<p><strong><u>Hours:</u></strong>&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0; Full time, M-F, 35 hour week, regular work hours 7:30AM-4PM, must be available in the event of an emergency with occasional weekends, holidays and on-call with additional compensation</p><p><strong><u>Salary:</u></strong>&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0; $21.67</p><p><strong><u>Summary:</u></strong></p><p>Performs necessary functions of the daily operations and maintenance of water distribution systems, sewer collection systems and water and wastewater treatment plants.</p><p><strong><u>Duties</u></strong><strong>:&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0; </strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.</li><li>Promotes and maintains positive and effective working relationships and promotes good public relationships as a representative of Licking County Government.</li><li>Monitors water and/or wastewater treatment equipment in order to ensure proper operation; checks chemical supply levels and replenishes as necessary.</li><li>Assists Maintenance Operator with repairs on treatment equipment (changes oil, greases motors, pumps, chains, etc.).</li><li>Operates and maintains water distribution and wastewater systems (pumps, compressors, electrical controls, lines, valves etc.).</li><li>Receives and responds to emergency situations related to treatment, collection, or distribution operations. Receives and responds to telephone inquiries or service calls.</li><li>Inspects and logs consumer meter readings for billings and water consumption information.</li><li>Performs preventative and service maintenance and repair on departmental vehicles.</li><li>Collects water and/or wastewater samples for purpose of analysis.</li><li>Completes general housekeeping tasks in order to maintain facilities (cleans, paints, maintains grounds, etc.).</li><li>Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to the essential functions of the position and all agency safety procedures</li><li>Remains informed of current developments and procedures pertinent to duties;&#xa0; may be required to attend seminars/training</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications:</u></strong></p><p>One year certificate from college or technical school; and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.&#xa0; Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker and air brakes.* Physical mobility, lifting, and exposure to hazardous conditions.</p><p>*May be acquired after hire and obtained prior to the end of the probationary period.&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Additional Qualifications (Agency/Dept. Qualifications):</u></strong></p><p><strong>Ohio EPA Class I Water and Class I Wastewater Certificates are preferred but not required.&#xa0; Knowledge of basic Water &amp; Wastewater testing is also recommended but not required.&#xa0; Candidates must be able to relate to the public in a professional manner.&#xa0; Candidate should have general knowledge of plumbing, electrical and septic tank operation.&#xa0; Candidate should be a fast learner and be able to adapt to changing work demands.</strong></p>",
