This role will be responsible for collaborating closely with stakeholders and Technology & Information Services leadership to define the vision and strategy for technology products, while leading the life cycle of cross-departmental products spanning diverse technology teams and departments, and advocating for long-term strategic enhancements aligned with organizational objectives. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Other key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Defining, documenting, and communicating the product vision guiding the development team and stakeholders in alignment with customer feedback, market research, performance metrics, and firm goals; delivering compelling product presentations and reports, securing stakeholder support</li>\n <li>Coordinating with other Product Owners to ensure alignment and integration of product strategies across the firm</li>\n <li>Collecting business and stakeholder requirements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria, and managing a clear and transparent product backlog, creating, prioritizing, and refining user stories</li>\n <li>Developing roadmaps to demonstrate long-term product vision, making decisions regarding product features, scope, and priorities, and communicating product releases</li>\n <li>Planning work in collaboration with the scrum master and development team, providing clear direction and leadership, and holding retrospective sessions to review and assess progress</li>\n <li>Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains </li>\n</ul>\n<p>We’d love to hear from you if you:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle and methodologies</li>\n <li>Display the ability to understand and articulate the ‘big picture’ business goals and clear vision for the product</li>\n <li>Possess advanced and effective business analysis skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>And have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or an equivalent </li>\n <li>A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering, Management, or a related field, preferably</li>\n <li>Technical certifications in relevant areas, such as Agile Certification, Scrum Master, and SAFe, preferably</li>\n <li>A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a product owner for Agile software development teams or related areas</li>\n <li>Experience in the legal industry or a similar regulated environment, preferably</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits & Additional Information</h2>\n<p>Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
