Our Company vigorously pursues opportunities to recruit and develop job candidates who have the desire and potential for becoming qualified employees through our Affirmative Action Plan.</p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>M&J is seeking a Construction Project Scheduler to provide critical scheduling, planning, and project controls support for WMATA’s ongoing and upcoming capital improvement, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.</p>\n<p><strong>Apply through this site or send resume to [email protected].</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary: </strong></p>\n<p>Based on experience the salary range is $90k - $125k annually.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded schedules for construction, engineering, and maintenance projects in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.</li>\n <li>Monitor project progress, identify potential schedule impacts, and prepare Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to assess delays and suggest mitigation strategies.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that project milestones are met on time and within budget.</li>\n <li>Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess project performance and provide accurate reporting of schedule, cost, and resource utilization.</li>\n <li>Analyze project delays and work with stakeholders to develop and submit delay claims and change orders as necessary.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all contractual scheduling requirements, including timely submittal of baseline and updated schedules.</li>\n <li>Provide risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to avoid delays or overruns.</li>\n <li>Work with project managers and stakeholders to define project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.</li>\n <li>Monitor schedule progress and perform variance analysis to identify delays, risks, and recovery strategies.</li>\n <li>Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports summarizing schedule status, forecasts, and performance metrics</li>\n <li>Coordinate with cost estimators and financial analysts to align schedules with project budgets and forecasts.</li>\n <li>Regularly communicate schedule updates and changes to the project team and relevant stakeholders. </li>\n <li>Participate in project review meetings and provide scheduling expertise to support decision-making.</li>\n <li>Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, specifically with Primavera P6.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced), and data manipulation/cleansing techniques.</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse project teams and stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting transportation, government, or public sector clients (WMATA experience is highly desirable).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of WMATA’s systems, KPIs, and operational data frameworks.</li>\n <li>Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>M&J is a leader in providing quality engineering consulting services to a diverse and exciting client base.
