    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>OBXtek is currently staffing for a <strong>Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Liaison, Senior </strong>in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Science, Technology, Maturation & Logistics (AQT). This position supports the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQT) on the <strong>Staffing and Technical Acquisition Services Support II (STAQSS II) </strong>contract.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>AQT is responsible for guiding early-stage technologies and transitioning them into operational capabilities for the Air Force and Space Force. The mission broadly includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Aligning research priorities with operational needs,</li>\n <li>Transitioning promising R&D efforts into acquisition programs,</li>\n <li>Sustainment strategy developments, and </li>\n <li>Ensuring technology transition aligns with acquisition timelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>*This position is currently on-site at work 5 days per week. Occasional exceptions may be considered </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The tasks for this position include:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>- Liaison responsibilities will not include modeling or running simulations; the tasks below identify how your expertise will serve your analyses and assessments</p>\n<p>- Providing expertise on model-based systems engineering (MBSE), mission engineering, and analysis execution, implementation, and policy for Department of Air Force (DAF) capability development.</p>\n<p>- Applying system of systems (SoS) thinking to modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) methodologies to ensure application of consistent mission objectives information.</p>\n<p>- Analyzing weapon system architectures and integration and identify issues.</p>\n<p>- Reviewing and assessing technical, operational, and management concepts, documents, and specifications.</p>\n<p>- Assessing weapon system design alternatives to provide the required capability through system of system assessments and mission engineering.</p>\n<p>- Analyzing program trends, identifying issues/opportunities, and recommending solutions based on external and internal operational analysis by performing weapon system/technology/cost trade-off studies.</p>\n<p>- Providing objective assessments of operational and technical issues of programs approaching milestone decisions.</p>\n<p>- Studying, analyzing, and providing recommendations on requirements, acquisition strategies, program documentation, program phase transition plans, supplemental information, and program execution</p>\n<p>- Assessing policy requirements and developing policy and procedures governing Air Force architecture modeling, operational analysis, and analytic tool development.</p>\n<p>- Researching and providing technical analysis for the preparation of programmatic documentation and responses to Congressional, DOD, Air Force Secretariat, and/or Air Staff.</p>\n<p>- Identifying operational deficiencies and other key issues, conducting research to develop alternatives and providing recommendations and support for resolution.</p>\n<p>- Preparing, drafting, and coordinating responses to taskings and requests for information on mission engineering, and analysis execution and implementation initiatives; ensure responses are properly formatted and routed.</p>\n<p>- Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to move or traverse throughout a large, secure facility and between multiple work areas</li>\n <li>Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists and fingers</li>\n <li>Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Active Secret orTop Secret clearance, SCI eligibility</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 10 years of systems engineering as well as modeling and analysis experience.</li>\n <li>Masters Degree in any discipline (Engineering preferred)</li>\n <li>Must be proficient in computer-based communication/office IT tools especially including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel), SharePoint, TEAMS; Adobe (both reader and Pro)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to learn new software and IT tools as needed in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Must be proficient in public speaking; capable of delivering briefs, speaking in meetings in person / online, and giving presentations</li>\n <li>For active Secret clearance, must be able to upgrade to Top Secret</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Substitutions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>12 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.</li>\n <li>BA/BS degree plus 8 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>How to Stand Out and get seen faster: </strong></p>\n<p>Resumes showing the following experience Stand Out:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Acquisition knowledge and experience</li>\n <li>Years of experience as required above</li>\n <li>Clearance and current status</li>\n <li>Where you were an Action Officer or similar leadership support role</li>\n <li>PEO - Program Executive Office experience (or similar)</li>\n <li>Pentagon or DoD HQ support</li>\n <li>PEM - Program Element Monitor(or other program support)</li>\n <li>Education</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Security Clearance</h2>Top Secret with SCI eligibility\n<h2>Company Information</h2>\n<p>Headquartered in McLean, Virginia and founded in 2009, OBXtek is a growing leader in the government contracting field.
