    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing projects to make sure that the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget and scope.  It manages specific projects assigned by the Program Manager, to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance. The TPM role monitors, adjusts, and reports on the project’s performance, budget, and schedule. The TPM role provides interim progress reviews until completion. The TPM role assists with proposing, implementing, and enforcing program policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents. The TPM role works from the latest client approved version of the Project Management Processes (PMP). The PMP is an evolutionary document that is updated annually at a minimum and as project changes occur. </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews status of projects and budgets.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages schedules.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares status reports.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, customers, and other stakeholders. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Document and maintain all support requirements in a Program Manager and client approved PMP.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain detailed SOPs for implementation on program, including milestones, tasks, and subtasks. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide for an overall Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with a minimum of three levels and associated responsibilities and partnerships between the client (i.e., Components, Commands, etc.) and contractor program organizations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Document in detail the Program Manager’s QMP and approach to risk management. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Document in detail the Program Manager’s approach to communications, including processes, procedures, format, and other rules of engagement.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain the location of technical and project management baselines. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**</strong> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass/obtain a Poly clearance. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3 years relevant experience). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong progressive and intensive experience in client project management. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communications </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience creating management, communications and processes on programs serving Government clients. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience leading stakeholder teams to implement approved plans, policies and procedures to meet mission within schedule and budget. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PgMP) OR PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) OR AAPM Master Project Manager (MPM) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SECURITY CLEARANCE: </strong> </p>\n<p>This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required  To hold this clearance.  </p>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
