The Analyst performs tactical level threat intelligence functions to include collection of intelligence information and tracking physical threat activities which directly or indirectly affect employees, facilities and interests globally.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and client specific intelligence gathering tools for known and potential threats to employees, company assets and reputation.</li>\n <li>Collect and validate intelligence, while assessing the credibility and reliability of open-source information.</li>\n <li>Observe and report on a wide range of issues pertaining to global security, such as terrorism, natural disasters, crime incidents and trends, and pandemic/health related incidents.</li>\n <li>Monitor geopolitical events that may impact executive travel, company events, and/or operations.</li>\n <li>Serve as initial command element during emergency or crisis situations.</li>\n <li>Manage internal alarm monitoring, trace, and responses.</li>\n <li>Conduct video surveillance activities.</li>\n <li>Complete external threat monitoring and provide rapid communication with employees and stakeholders, as needed.</li>\n <li>Conduct physical security system operational audits.</li>\n <li>Manage access control and produces analytical reporting to assess effectiveness of controls and culture of security.</li>\n <li>Support other client programs including insider threat, business continuity, health and safety, travel security, executive security, and physical security threat analysis.</li>\n <li>Track, document, and report progress on projects and initiatives in areas of responsibility.</li>\n <li>Communicate with senior security management on matters related to employee welfare, global incidents, operational issues and critical situations.</li>\n <li>All other duties, as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>High school diploma or GED, college preferred, with at least three years of experience working in a GSOC environment. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of security system applications and integration, preferred.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with standard security communication protocols and security tools.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of world news and current events.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Able to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information.</li>\n <li>Analytical skills with the ability to provide rigorous and creative insight into complex situations.</li>\n <li>Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.</li>\n <li>Able to work independently while also being a team player.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and able to achieve results with little supervision.</li>\n <li>Computer skills; Microsoft Office.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<p>With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular computer usage.</li>\n <li>Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.</li>\n <li>Frequent sitting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pinkerton is an equal opportunity employer to all applicants and positions without regard to race/ethnicity, color, national origin, ancestry, sex/gender, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, marital/prenatal status, pregnancy/childbirth or related conditions, religion, creed, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any protected status by local, state, federal or country-specific law.</p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>Benefit options include employer-paid life and AD&D, voluntary life and AD&D, medical, (HSA) Health Savings Account, (FSA) Flexible Savings Account, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(K), paid time off (vacation, personal, sick, and holidays) and several employee assistance-related programs.
