Description
The Material Management Specialist will be a member of the Carry-on Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) Logistics team, focusing primarily on all aspects of material procurement, handling and management.
Managing and maintaining inventory accuracy using customer directed supply systems, conducting regular wall-to-wall inventories, and performing discrepancy analysis
Shipping, receiving, inventory, and requesting fulfillment of electronic/electrical components
Serving as the onsite point of contact for material requests
Reviewing, analyzing and executing purchase requisitions with our manufacturing and planning teams to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
Creating and issuing purchase orders to suppliers and manage modifications to purchase orders
Reviewing and performing thorough due diligence on purchase requisitions to ensure TAA compliance on all purchases

Requirements
Two years of full-time professional experience as a logistician
Two years of full-time professional experience with government procurements
Required specialized experience:
Two years of full-time professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life-Cycle support areas of the DoD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System
Desired Skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) preferred, not required
Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) Program
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL.
