    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Fine Gold Resources </span>is a precious metals mining company operating in the Yukon. We operate on a seasonal basis from March to October and are looking to hire a seasonal <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Haul Truck Operator (Mine), </span>to be based outside of Dawson City, Yukon.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We provide accommodation and meals at our on-site camp and offer a highly competitive compensation package.</p>\n<p>The mine operates 24/7 with two shifts each day - a day shift and a night shift - with a rotation schedule. During their time off employees may stay on-site at the camp or venture to Dawson City for some time away.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>For candidates local to the Dawson City area, we are open to considering an onsite / offsite working schedule.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Duties:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures.</li>\n<li>Do pre-&amp; post inspection check-up of the equipment and write/keep equipment log.</li>\n<li>Report any defect found on equipment.</li>\n<li>Report all equipment repairs and maintenance requests to the Lead.</li>\n<li>Responsible for and/or assists in fueling and filling all the fluids in the equipment to the right level.</li>\n<li>Assist in the maintenance works of the equipment.</li>\n<li>Operate loading and unloading equipment as required.</li>\n<li>Navigate to work sites and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work.</li>\n<li>Maintain tidiness in the equipment.</li>\n<li>Promote safety culture and adhere to HSE policies.</li>\n<li>Prepare and submit the necessary required daily reports as directed.</li>\n<li>Perform other functions as maybe directed from time to time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2–5 years of off-highway experience operating heavy trucks, including rigid frame, wiggle wagon, float/lowbed, or similar truck-trailer configurations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience operating other heavy-duty equipment is an asset. </li>\n<li>Valid Class 1 Driver's License </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Acceptable driver’s abstract.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work day and night shifts.</li>\n<li>Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.</li>\n<li>Solid communication skills and ability to work in a team setting and alone as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their application, including a resume and cover letter.
