The position is responsible for maintaining important mechanical, electrical and control systems in a critical environment facility. Key job activities include delivering timely and quality client service while providing a sustainable approach to data center systems maintenance. The <strong>Lead</strong> <strong>Critical Facility Engineer&nbsp;</strong>demonstrates BGIS values daily in communication with the client and other team members.&nbsp;</span></p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Client Service Focus</strong></li>\n   <li>Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Provide back up to the Critical Facility Manager as a point of contact for clients and project teams.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Provide input, develop, maintain account, site, and client reporting as requested.</li>\n   <li>Complete client service requests in a timely manner.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Respond to emergency calls.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Team Supervision</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Prioritize work duties and assign daily tasks to ensure completion of all activities in a timely and quality manner.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Support the creation, review, and approval of critical environment procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Monitor and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System usage and reporting.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Supervise contractors.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Ensure adherence to BGIS safety policy and procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Maintain Data Center Systems</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Lead and prioritize Critical Facility Engineer daily, weekly, and monthly work order assignments.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Perform maintenance to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Complete routine maintenance tasks in accordance with BGIS Safety Policy and Procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Resolve maintenance issues and troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend system upgrades.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Review and maintain equipment data for potential improvements, monitor system data for abnormal trends, and suggest adjustments.</li>\n   <li>Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Lead development of new projects.</li>\n   <li>Request proposals for outsourced work.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Monitor vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets BGIS and client standards.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Accurate and timely completion of work order requests.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Escalate issues to Critical Environment Facility Manager as needed.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n   <li>Three years of experience in similar working environment with HVAC or Electrical knowledge helpful.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Knowledgeable in either electrical or mechanical work or related facility systems preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Two years of experience in mission critical infrastructure, including generators, UPS systems, HVAC systems, fire/life safety systems, BMS systems, and CMMS systems.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.</li>\n   <li>Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to respond effectively, verbally in writing to sensitive issues, complex inquiries, or complaints.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems typically used in critical environments.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams.</li>\n   <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client service focus to establish and maintain professional client and vendor relationships.</li>\n   <li>Experience writing MOP’s and SOP’s.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Time Management focus to prioritize and complete work in a timely basis.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>SharePoint and Power BI experience is a plus.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
