Specs Inc. also provides Lens Studio, a full suite of advanced developer tools that powers immersive augmented reality experiences across Specs, Snapchat, and other services</span></p><p></p><p><span>We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the Spectacles team!</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What you’ll do:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Design, build, and support software systems, tools, and workflows that enable computer vision development for Spectacles</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop production-quality C&#43;&#43; and supporting infrastructure for CV-related pipelines, tooling, and internal developer workflows</span></p></li><li><p><span>Improve the reliability, quality, and efficiency of CV development, validation, and calibration workflows, focusing on data capture</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build high quality, maintainable, and performant code with strong testing and operational standards</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participate in code and design reviews</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work closely with computer vision, platform, product, and infrastructure teams to turn research and prototypes into robust engineering solutions</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Strong software engineering skills in C&#43;&#43;, or solid experience in a systems language with the ability to ramp quickly on C&#43;&#43;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience building high quality, performant, and maintainable software with strong unit and functional testing practices</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience supporting data capture for computer vision, geometry, perception, imaging, sensor, or other technically adjacent workflows</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience building tools, libraries, pipelines, or infrastructure that improve developer velocity and engineering reliability</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Minimum Qualifications:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent practical experience</span></p></li><li><p><span>2&#43; years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience; or Master’s degree in a technical field &#43; 1&#43; year of post-grad software development experience; or PhD in a relevant technical field</span></p></li><li><p><span>Industry software development experience building production systems, tools, or infrastructure</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>5&#43; years of experience building and shipping high performance software</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with data capture for computer vision, geometry, perception, imaging, sensor, or other technically adjacent workflows</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working close to hardware, sensors, operating systems, or resource-constrained devices</span></p></li><li><p><span>Practice designing reusable APIs, tooling, platforms, or developer workflows</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><span>If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some </span><a href=\"https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScV7t31iR3yYR9ztGDHJpbvL63svWpb6s0afkBkLEjGnDx4Kg/viewform\" target=\"_blank\"><u>information</u></a>.</p><p></p><p><span>&#34;Default Together&#34; Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
