In addition to a highly competitive benefits package, we offer employee career development programs to help our employees develop and grow their careers. &nbsp; Pinnacle also promotes community involvement and volunteering opportunities.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>The Field Technician I will work on assignments involving field activities, data collection, and problem solving. &nbsp;The job responsibilities include working as an individual or as part of a team to assist with any of the following tasks:</p><ol><li>emergency response assistance working with hazardous and non-hazardous materials</li><li>assistance with the collection of air, groundwater and soil environmental samples</li><li>machine operation of various equipment&nbsp;</li><li>driving and hauling heavy equipment</li><li>Installation, maintenance, and operation of remedial systems.</li><li>Construction, Demolition, Excavation, and Industrial Cleaning field services</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with internal project teams and clients.</li><li>Strong technical writing skills, including an attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.</li><li>Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Flexible working style and willingness to modify personal schedules to meet deadlines and client needs</li><li>Flexible yet strong work ethic in order to meet project deadlines and client needs.</li><li>Motivation for continued growth in environmental consulting.</li><li>Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong analytical skills.</li><li>Planning and organizing.</li><li>Decision making.</li><li>Team player.</li><li>Reliable attendance.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma. &nbsp;College degree or post-secondary education un an environmental science based curriculum preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience directly related to job responsibilities outlined above</li><li>Experience in a safety and environmental field</li><li>Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations</li><li>Experience working in an engineering, industrial or construction workplace, preferred</li><li>Demonstrated familiarity working with spreadsheet and word processing software.</li><li>Ability to utilize basic computer programs such as Office, Word and Excel.&nbsp;</li><li>Valid Commercial driver&rsquo;s license and driving record&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to obtain a DOT health card and potentially a commercial driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong>: &nbsp; &nbsp;This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Physical Demands (</strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job). &nbsp;</p><ul><li>Duties include the regular use of computer and phone systems.</li><li>Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions</li><li>Climb ladders or steps where equipment is located, or to perform required inspections</li><li>Ability to carry up to 50 pounds and work in conditions that may feature rough terrain</li><li>Bend or stoop repeatedly or continually over time to adjust equipment</li><li>Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others</li><li>Ability to obtain a DOT health card&nbsp;</li><li>Normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) is required for this position. &nbsp;</li><li>Applicants must be able to work in out-of-office locations that may feature terrain typical of construction sites and to enter and work within industrial facilities.&nbsp;</li><li>An OSHA-mandated physical exam may be required prior to job placement. &nbsp;</li><li>Safety training will be provided by Pinnacle.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: &nbsp;</strong>This is a full-time position.
