We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Accountant to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting engineering and design projects through accurate financial reporting and analysis.</span></p><p class=\"pf0\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\"><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></span></p><ul><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">Manage project accounting activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">Prepare and review monthly project financial reports and variance analyses.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and client contract requirements.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">Collaborate with project managers to monitor financial performance and resolve discrepancies.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">Process invoices, track billings, and manage accounts receivable for assigned projects.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">Support internal audits and assist with year-end financial processes.</span></li></ul><p class=\"pf0\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\"><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></span></p><ul><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf0\">3</span><span class=\"cf1\">–5 years of experience in project accounting or financial management, preferably in engineering or construction.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf1\">Strong knowledge of accounting principles and project cost control.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf1\">Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Deltek or similar preferred).</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf1\">Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</span></li><li class=\"pf1\"><span class=\"cf1\">CPA designation or working toward CPA is an asset.</span></li></ul><p class=\"pf0\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.</span></p><p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">The salary range for this role is between $7</span><span class=\"cf2\">5</span><span class=\"cf1\">K - $</span><span class=\"cf2\">8</span><span class=\"cf1\">0K.
