font-weight: bold;\">Location:</span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\"> 100 E College Ave, Colby, Ks</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;\">Position Information: </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The housekeeper will complete cleaning functions at Citizens Medical Center, our acute care facility.  The technician works with equipment and supplies to perform a variety of environmental services and other duties in accordance with established policies and procedures in order to maintain an orderly and sanitary condition.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The Housekeeper will report to </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">the Housekeeping Manager.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;\">Days: </span><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif;\">We are currently looking for an individual to work 8 hour days, 5 days a week, including every other weekend.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;\">Hours:</span> <span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">This facility is staffed 24 hours a day. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;\">What you’ll do:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Receive and follow cleaning assignments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Complete routine maintenance on carpets, tiles and vinyl floors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Follow established safety precautions and infection control procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Attend meetings and in-services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;\">What you bring to the table:<span style=\"color: red;\"> </span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">No formal education is required for this job.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Possess interpersonal skills needed to function in a “team setting”.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Understands importance of maintaining established sanitary standards in housekeeping.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Ability to be tactful and courteous to patients/residents, visitors and staff.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Appropriate personal hygiene.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Ability to work in close cooperation with others and the Department Leader.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Ability to read well enough to follow directions and understand the responsibilities of working with chemicals, equipment, both manual and powered and supplies in the Environmental Services Department.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Willing and able to participate in educational sessions, in-service training and floor demonstrations. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">Experience in maintaining sanitary environments is an asset.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;\">Typical Working Conditions: </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Exposure to dust, housekeeping solutions, steam, heat and disinfecting solutions; need for precautions in infection control, blood borne pathogens, and needle sticks.  May be subject to offensive odors, loud noises, and unpleasant sights.  Will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and work a flexible schedule.  Move continuously during work hours.  Able to lift and/or carry forty (40) pounds.  Occasional work in precarious or high locations (ladders, etc.).  Able to adjust normal routines, if necessary.  May be asked to work beyond normal working hours and may be subject to emergency call on off duty hours.  This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;
