Supported by the expertise of our world class Arista TAC, cutting-edge proof-of-concept resources, and support of the executive team, you are well-positioned to lead and innovate within the industry.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p>We are experiencing tremendous growth and have an immediate need for a creative, collaborative, self-motivated Advisory Systems Engineer to partner with our Account teams to provide onsite technical systems engineering support for our important customer in San Jose, California. .&#xa0; &#xa0; &#xa0; &#xa0; &#xa0; &#xa0; &#xa0;</p><p>The Advisory Systems Engineer is a critical component of the Arista Account team with the key responsibility of acting as a trusted advisor for our customers to gather requirements and identify opportunities with existing and new customers.&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Collaborate with Arista Account Managers to gain an in-depth business and technological&#xa0;understanding of our enterprise clients and conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews to identify areas for improvement in network performance and efficiency</li><li>You will conduct Arista product presentations of Arista’s Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus (including WIFI) networking solutions, CloudVision (Network Automation), Security (Network Detection), Endpoint Security and Real-time Fabric Monitoring solutions.</li><li>You will OWN the pre-sales and post-sales technical relationship with the assigned customers and channel partners</li><li>Build and maintain a deep, sound knowledge of all Arista technologies, in order to support and help in the enablement of channel partner engineers and customers’ engineers and architects</li><li>Execute technical Quarterly Business Reviews with customer base</li><li>Support onsite requirements at the customer site</li><li>Facilitate technical training on Arista’s products, differentiators, solutions, and demos</li><li>You will architect, design and propose Arista Data Center &amp; Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures (VxLAN, EVPN) and network overlays to capture additional sales.</li><li>Perform hands-on testing to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Center and/or Campus network designs, and network deployments using new products and features.</li><li>Put together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support</li><li>Partner with Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQs</li><li>Author feature requests, business justifications, and provide feedback to the Product Management, Hardware Development and Software Development organizations</li><li>Represent Arista at industry events and conferences, including potential speaking roles.</li><li>Present technical content to worldwide organizations both virtually and in-person</li><li>Create technical marketing materials for the global Arista organization</li><li>Author white papers on technology and product</li><li>Travel expectations is approximately 15-30%</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li><strong>Must be fluent in English and Mandarin</strong></li><li>BS/CS/CE Business or Technical degree required; MBA/MS degree a strong plus</li><li>Network Industry Certification preferred (e.g. CCIE (R&amp;S), JNCIE, ACE-5,6,7)</li><li>You possess a minimum of 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience with a focus on Data Center, Campus, and WIFI solutions</li><li>Strong presentation and selling skills including communication of complex technical material</li><li>Solid understanding and knowledge of how to build successful relationships between an equipment manufacturer and a customer base of executives, architects, engineers and operations teams</li><li>Good interpersonal skills, customer relations skills, and problem management skills, with the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure while working to strict deadlines</li><li>Experience creating technical material (slides, white papers, battle cards, solution guides, etc)</li><li>You possess recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design.</li><li>Demonstrated work experience as either a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE or Network Consulting Engineer preferred</li><li>Expert knowledge in the following areas: Ethernet, RSTP/ MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS</li><li>Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLI</li><li>Previous experience building network automation using Python and Ansible HIGHLY desired.</li><li>Strong writing skills and ability to create informative white papers on technology and products is highly desired</li></ul>",
