Kent is looking for a Process Junior Engineer I, to support ongoing projects.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Design Preparation: Prepare and review designs (documents and plans) and incorporate comments, according to specific requests from the Engineering and Projects area, using the software and office package and standards, to comply with the requirements of each discipline.
Registration of Man Hours: Record the consumption of Man Hours of each deliverable / activity in the Man Hours Registration and Control System established by the company, to be able to issue the products without negative lag of Man Hours.
Technical Quality Management in Deliverables: Use the tools and methods established by the company, for the quality control of the deliverables, according to the specialty to which it is assigned, using the standards and control schemes that have been defined, in order to guarantee that in all projects the Quality and Compliance parameters defined in the Quality Plan of each project are met and in the Promise of Value.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
Professional in Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or according to the specialty.
Basic knowledge in designs for the Oil & Gas sector.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
Manejo de Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, teams).
HSEQ knowledge.
Basic knowledge in renewable energies or energy transition
Theoretical knowledge of unit operations related to the hydrocarbon industry, especially: pumping, gas/liquid separation, liquid storage, compression, heat transfer, pressure drop calculations in pipelines.
Knowledge and use of Hysys software for process simulation and optionally Pro II.
Communication:
Excellent command of the Spanish – English (mandatory) language in both oral and written communication and skills.
Behavior/ Core Competencies:
0 to 2 years, according to the specialty.
HSSEQ:
The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the governing authorities of the host country.
