Provides and models service behavior to guests and employees. Reinforces appropriate culture to provide service to guests. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility. Position works with direct reports to implement departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives while meeting financial goals.</p>\n <p></p>\n <p><strong>CANDIDATE PROFILE </strong></p>\n <p></p>\n <p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p>\n <p>• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area.</p>\n <p>OR</p>\n <p>• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.</p>\n <p></p>\n <p><strong>CORE WORK ACTIVITIES</strong></p>\n <p></p>\n <p><strong>Managing Recreation Operations</strong></p>\n <p>• Supervises and manages employees. Manages all day-to-day operations. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.</p>\n <p>• Monitors quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.</p>\n <p>• Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.</p>\n <p>• Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.</p>\n <p>• Schedules events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.</p>\n <p>• Provides personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.</p>\n <p>• Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.</p>\n <p>• Manages outside vendors including water sports and scuba.</p>\n <p>• Orders and manages necessary supplies.
