When a wrecker's down, a job doesn't get done — so the person who keeps this fleet running is one of the most important people in the company. We're looking for someone who takes pride in that, works clean, and wants to actually <em>fix</em> equipment, not just keep it limping.</p><p>If you like variety, you'll get it here: light-duty rigs, heavy wreckers, tractors, trailers, and support vehicles — gas and diesel, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air. No two days the same.</p><p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tow trucks, tractors, trailers, and support vehicles</li><li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air system issues</li><li>Service diesel and gasoline engines</li><li>Handle brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs</li><li>Conduct DOT inspections and keep the fleet compliant</li><li>Respond to breakdowns and make emergency repairs when the call comes</li><li>Keep accurate service and repair records</li><li>Keep your shop and work areas clean and safe</li></ul><p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years as a fleet, diesel, or heavy-duty mechanic preferred</li><li>Hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks or towing equipment a strong plus</li><li>Sharp troubleshooting and diagnostic skills — you find the root cause, not just the symptom</li><li>Working knowledge of DOT regulations and inspections</li><li>The ability to work independently and manage your own workload</li><li>A valid driver's license (CDL a plus)</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time</li><li><strong>Second shift preferred</strong> — but we'll put the right person on day shift</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($25-$42/hr)</li><li>Overtime available</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>A growing company where skilled techs move up</li></ul><p>If you can diagnose it, fix it, and take pride in the work, we want to talk to you. <strong>Apply today and keep the best fleet in New England rolling.</strong></p><p><em>Job Type: Full-time · Work Location: In person</em></p>",
