    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <p><span>Description</span></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:22.85pt\">Gordian (<a href=\"http://www.gordian.com/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.gordian.com)</a>&nbsp;is the leader in facility and construction cost data, software and services for all phases of the building lifecycle. A pioneer of Job Order Contracting, Gordian’s solutions also include proprietary RSMeans data and Facility Intelligence Solutions. From planning to design,&nbsp;procurement, construction and operations, Gordian’s solutions help clients maximize efficiency, optimize cost savings and increase building quality.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:22.85pt\">The Area Manager (ARM) position oversees a sub-section of a region. The ARM will manage multiple contracts, clients, projects and&nbsp;Account Managers, and on occasion, could directly manage job order or project-level tasks at any client.</p>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Client Administration –&nbsp;Area Manager will be responsible for maintaining client relationships at the Director level and above and have quarterly check-in meetings to evaluate performance, pipeline and evaluate future opportunities.</li>\n  <li>New Client Start-up Manager –&nbsp;Within their geographic area, the Area Manager will assist the Regional Director and lead the assigned Account&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;through&nbsp;the&nbsp;new&nbsp;client&nbsp;start-up&nbsp;process.&nbsp;ARM&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;responsible&nbsp;to&nbsp;coordinate&nbsp;the&nbsp;start-up&nbsp;schedule&nbsp;and&nbsp;provide&nbsp;quality&nbsp;control&nbsp;on all deliverables (D&amp;I documents, Gordian Cloud forms/reports, pre-bid presentations, etc.).</li>\n  <li>Contract Administration –&nbsp;Ensure all areas of service and deliverables as detailed in Gordian’s contract are being met. Track contract and contract option expirations and coordinate with clients and Gordian legal department on renewals.</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Employee Management –&nbsp;ARM will manage all Account Management and support staff within their territory. This will include managing MyFortive, Expensify, Kronos, etc. ARM will also assist the RD in developing Performance for Growth and Development for Growth goals for&nbsp;each member of their team. All new Area Managers will participate in Gordian’s LEAD program unless they have gone through it before and have been excused by HR.</span></li>\n <li><span>Budget Development &amp; Management –&nbsp;ARM will assist the RD in the development of the annual budget and provide analysis of historical client&nbsp;volume, current pipeline and future client budgets (if available).</span></li>\n <li><span>Financial Forecasting – ARM will review and follow developed standard of work for mid-month, quarterly and yearly forecasting. They will delegate&nbsp;any&nbsp;data&nbsp;collection&nbsp;to&nbsp;AMs&nbsp;and&nbsp;JOC&nbsp;Coordinator.&nbsp;ARM&nbsp;will&nbsp;provide&nbsp;comments&nbsp;and&nbsp;backup&nbsp;information&nbsp;to&nbsp;RD&nbsp;on&nbsp;any&nbsp;variants&nbsp;to&nbsp;the budget and the mid-month forecast.</span></li>\n <li><span>Coordination with Marketing, Product &amp; Sales –&nbsp;ARM will assist marketing with access to clients for case-studies, marketing collateral or Harry Mellon Award of Excellence submissions. ARM will work with RD to identify all upsell/cross-sell opportunities, assist Planning Conversation&nbsp;Captains with target list and coordinate introduction meetings between the sales team and client. ARM will assist product and other departments with Voice of Customer requests.</span></li>\n <li><span>Gordian&nbsp;Cloud&nbsp;Migration&nbsp;Manager –&nbsp;ARM&nbsp;will&nbsp;oversee&nbsp;the&nbsp;operations&nbsp;team&nbsp;through&nbsp;all&nbsp;Gordian&nbsp;Cloud&nbsp;migrations.&nbsp;ARM&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;responsible&nbsp;for understanding proper procedures, standards and best practices. They will be responsible to provide weekly and monthly reporting to RD (and others as necessary) on progress of migration and immediately elevate issues and concerns to the proper department.</span></li>\n <li><span>Contractor Outreach –&nbsp;As required in the region, ARM will assist outreach team as they conduct reach out to the contractor community. They will also assist clients in getting and reporting participation in their Job Order Contracts. This outreach will include JOC 101 presentations on a semi-annual basis to educate contractors.
