The Field Service Technician will be expected to service mechanical, electrical, and software/network issues, ensuring proper functionality per the intended design and specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires a mobile specialist responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of complex systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of supporting the installation and programming of ElectroShades as well as startup and setup of the SolarTrac Automation system.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support, remotely or on-site, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues pertaining to mechanical, electrical, and software.</li>\n <li>Attend meetings with Operations, Dealer, EC, GC, IT, End User, etc</li>\n <li>Documentation support- Drafters, Engineering, Marketing, Dealers, etc</li>\n <li>Commission SolarTrac projects, remotely or on-site, thoroughly going through the checklist with the Mecho dealer.</li>\n <li>Assist in training facilities staff with operation and maintenance of automated systems.</li>\n <li>Perform Maintenance health checks and inspections, remotely or on-site, producing a detailed report.</li>\n <li>Liaison with Engineering on unresolved mechanical, electrical, or software issues.</li>\n <li>Record recurring issues and communicate information to engineering with suggestions for fixes where possible.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree with relevant experience, bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Electrical, IT, or Engineering field preferred.</li>\n <li>5+ years’ experience with one or more of the following: Audio Visual, Security, CCTV, Lighting, Automation systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with motor control electronics, is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent technical and communication skills</li>\n <li>Up to 70% travel required; must have valid drivers license</li>\n <li>Capable of reading schematics and troubleshooting systems</li>\n <li>Onsite presence is preferred for this role, and regular travel is required</li>\n <li>In-depth familiarity with standard hard wired and bus control technologies.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with multimeters, CAT 5/6 crimping tools, cable testers</li>\n <li>Ability to read construction drawings</li>\n <li>Database knowledge, is a plus</li>\n <li>OSHA Card, is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>How We Work to Deliver a Best Experience: Our Culture</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Our Core Value: We do the right thing, always</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Our Seven Cultural Behaviors</strong></li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Empowerment - </strong>We trust our people.</li>\n   <li><strong>Ownership - </strong>We take 100% responsibility for our roles actions, and results.</li>\n   <li><strong>Leadership - </strong>We all lead by example and talk direct with respect (DWR).</li>\n   <li><strong>One Team - </strong>We are One Springs Team.</li>\n   <li><strong>Customer First - </strong>We consider our customers' needs before every decision.</li>\n   <li><strong>Continuous Innovation - </strong>We are constantly learning, innovating, and improving.</li>\n   <li><strong>Speed - </strong>We define priorities and operate with a sense of urgency and agility.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Salary and Other Compensation: </em></p>\n<p><em>The annual base for this position is reasonably expected to be between $60,000-80,000.
