The Role Within the Business Development Representative (BDR) role, we support outbound sales teams by assisting them through strategic prospecting efforts and extensive account research. BDRs consistently make a tangible impact in the Sales Development Organization by generating millions of dollars of new business pipelines each year. What You’ll Do Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities Nurture early-stage opportunities Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing BT customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory Partner with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas Identify key decision makers within new accounts Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience Maintain active engagement with new and existing customers through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in BT Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities Enter prospect information into Salesforce. Enhance product knowledge through regularly attending training sessions. Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to help optimize revenue. What You’ll Bring 1-2 years experience in business development, sales or related field experience Ability to work in a fast paced environment. You think out-of-the-box and wow people with your interesting angles and quality work Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts that are a hybrid of net-new and existing install Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment High school diploma or equivalent Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Personality to establish and maintain strong relationships with sales teams you support and become a valued partner to them. Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and maximize efficiency. Effective listener to understand prospect needs. Strong organizational skills. Strong desire to be in technology sales Strong problem-solving skills High energy and positive attitude Ability to take initiative Solid phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills Nice To Have Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool Familiarity with Software/Cybersecurity Better Together Diversity.
