          "text": "<p><strong>What You'll Do Every Day</strong></p><p>Step into a dynamic and varied role where no two shifts are exactly the same. Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li><strong>Conduct thorough daily equipment inspections</strong> — instrument verification, cleaning, and calibration across the entire facility</li><li><strong>Lead laboratory work and water quality sampling</strong> — measuring turbidity, residual chlorine, pH, ammonia, and more at multiple locations throughout the distribution system</li><li><strong>Monitor and control the SCADA system</strong> — keeping a real-time eye on plant performance and responding proactively to alarms</li><li><strong>Manage and optimize chemical dosing</strong> — including Potassium Permanganate, Sulphuric Acid, Gas Chlorine, Aqueous Ammonia, and Polymer</li><li><strong>Operate and maintain GE membrane micro-filtration systems</strong> — including weekly Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures across 3 units</li><li><strong>Perform preventative maintenance</strong> — oil changes, filter changes, greasing, pneumatic valve rebuilds, and more as part of the monthly PM program</li><li><strong>Execute daily QA rounds</strong> at two reservoirs and a pump house to verify system integrity</li><li><strong>Backwash 4 dual-media sand filters</strong> on a scheduled and demand basis</li><li><strong>Manage chemical inventory</strong> and initiate procurement as needed</li><li><strong>Accurately enter operational data</strong> into the Simo Management Water Database</li><li><strong>Collaborate with on-site contractors</strong> and support DND-requested testing protocols</li><li>Contribute to a <strong>safe, clean, and professional work environment</strong> — janitorial duties and groundskeeping included</li></ul>",
