All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Duties, Responsibilities & Other</h2>\n<p>This role will perform structural and geotechnical engineering for marine and waterfront projects.</p>\n<p>Examples of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:     </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design of piers, wharves, and bulkheads including key components such as piles, pile caps, deck, fenders, and mooring bollards/cleats utilizing concrete, steel, timber and composites.</li>\n <li>Analyze existing structural capacity of deteriorated components to determine remaining capacities.</li>\n <li>Perform field inspection of existing structures.</li>\n <li>Perform berthing and mooring analyses.</li>\n <li>Prepare plans, designs, drawings, specifications, calculations and cost estimates.</li>\n <li>Work collaboratively with members of all company disciplines as well as external partners.</li>\n <li>Prepare engineering reports and other technical documents. </li>\n <li>Provide site visits during construction to ensure compliance with contract documents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the technical design and engineering required to complete projects or portions of projects within the scope, schedule and budget. </li>\n <li>Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of engineering work; designs a complete project, system, component or process. </li>\n <li>Assists with the preparation of project scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments;</li>\n <li>Prepares complete project documents and designs, analyzes and interprets data, and solves technical problems.</li>\n <li>Assigns tasks to and directs engineers, technicians and administrative staff. </li>\n <li>Assists with proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.</li>\n <li>Works collaboratively with internal and external partners on multidisciplinary design/engineering projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Work Experience Required:</strong> • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. • Proven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring engineering projects.• Proven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery.• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:</strong> • Master’s Degree</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:</strong>• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
