    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We have an immediate need for a remote FMS/Avionics Software Engineer.  This is a contract position for an immediate program. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pay Rate:</span> $70-$99/hr. DOE<br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">candidate must be a U.S. Person</span>, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.</li>\n<li>Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.</li>\n<li>Significant FMS/Avionics software experience is required</li>\n<li>Experience with integrated lab environments </li>\n<li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations<br></li>\n<li>Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities</li>\n<li>Strong communication and presentation skills</li>\n<li>Knowledge of DO-178 Development Standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why work with those of us at Performance Software?
