We are actively hiring Extrusion Operators to join our Concord, NC manufacturing team.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment used in the production of color compounds. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Maintain the highest standards of safety by following all safety procedures and actively participating in safety programs</p></li><li><p>Operate extrusion and related production equipment, including extruders, feeders, pelletizers, scales, dies, and classifiers</p></li><li><p>Produce compound samples according to customer and production specifications</p></li><li><p>Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance</p></li><li><p>Add color mix to feeders using a tow motor/forklift to position color pots correctly</p></li><li><p>Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed</p></li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent</p></li><li><p>1&ndash;2 years of manufacturing or production experience strongly preferred</p></li><li><p>Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capability</p></li><li><p>Forklift/tow motor experience preferred</p></li><li><p>Solid math and analytical skills</p></li><li><p>Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated work ethic</p></li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><p>Competitive starting pay: $18.00/hour and up</p></li><li><p>120 hours (3 weeks) of Paid Time Off</p></li><li><p>10 paid holidays</p></li><li><p>Free uniforms</p></li><li><p>Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage starting 30 days to the first of the month</p></li><li><p>Company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and AD&amp;D after 90 days</p></li><li><p>401(k) with generous company match:</p><ul><li><p>Dollar-for-dollar match on the first 3%</p></li><li><p>50% match on the next 2%</p></li><li><p>No vesting period</p></li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Safety Commitment</strong></p><p>The safety of our employees takes precedence over all other initiatives.
