    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<blockquote>\n <p>NOV is actively recruiting Drill Bit Repair Technicians for our location in Broussard LA, to perform service on products associated with job/tool assignment while following procedure provided by the NOV Service Quality Team.</p>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><i><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></i></p>\n</blockquote>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in basic production requirements, including operation of off-hand die grinders, blast equipment and general bit movement.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Initial understanding of repair process to assist more senior operators as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Operation of pressure washer to clean bits, breakers and boxes from field locations</li>\n <li>Operation of the OD Grinder and/or centerless grinder as necessary.</li>\n <li>Proper painting schemes for completed bits, including inspection of nozzle geometries to ensure proper fit.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Responsible for completion of all applicable paperwork.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Responsible for dye-pen application on product as required</li>\n <li>All other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<blockquote>\n <p><i><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></i></p>\n</blockquote>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred OR repair experience in lieu of education</li>\n <li>Adheres to HSE requirements</li>\n <li>Working hours identified by manager</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and 15 lbs. at least 25 times in repetition preferred</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate proficiently in the English language</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<blockquote>\n <p><i><strong>Preferred method of application and to view all opportunities visit: </strong></i><a href=\"https://www.nov.com/Careers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><i>https://www.nov.com/Careers</i></a></p>\n</blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n <p><i><strong>National Oilwell Varco is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination or Harassment of Any Kind:</strong>&nbsp;NOV is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunities for everyone and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
