We are searching for a <strong>Production Manager </strong>to join our team located at our facility in Jacksonville, IL (East plant). </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<p>The Production Manager is responsible for the operation of the manufacturing equipment and supporting functions to ensure that all products are manufactured in a safe, high quality, cost effective manner. This role will manage a team of 200+ employees that include salaried, hourly, and agency temps. The Production Manager will develop systems and manage resources to ensure the manufacturing operation meets established goals while maintaining a safe work environment and high- quality standards. We embrace and accept individual experiences and backgrounds to achieve a diverse and inclusive workplace.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS): </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understand, promote, assist and adhere to all EHS principles and be accountable to conform to them at all times.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with the EHS policies and support the facility EHS plans.</li>\n <li>In locations, where applicable, responsible to comply with the GFSI practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Quality:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor both internal quality and customer complaint rates and trends. Initiate corrective action to minimize or eliminate quality issues.</li>\n <li>Interface with PET and Marketing groups to insure success of new product launches as well as insuring product specifications are clear and correct.</li>\n <li>Insure quality systems are followed in the manufacturing operation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Productivity:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain an effective workforce through hiring, training, and coaching. Insure actions are consistent with best practices and established policies.</li>\n <li>Set departmental goals and objectives.
