    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization.  We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span></p>\n<p>We currently have an opening for a Business Education Teacher.   </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">POSITION GOAL</span></p>\n<p><span>The goal of this position is to administer instruction to students and help them develop the skills necessary to be successful within the school setting.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> </span><span>Provide instruction to students in assigned classes.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Create and implement weekly lesson plans.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Preparation for assigned classes.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Assessment and reporting of student performance.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Identifying students' various emotional, social, academic, and behavioral needs.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Work and communicate with parents and staff regarding student needs and progress.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Arrive at the job site according to the established work schedule.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Coordinate classroom duties with support staff and administration.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Be responsible for equipment and materials for the program.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Have current lesson plans and appropriate materials available for use by any substitute, if necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Directly responsible for supervising the work of the support staff.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Utilize non-violent crisis prevention intervention techniques when necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Contribute to the development and maintenance of an environment which is non-threatening, safe, restorative, and where the students feel respected, accepted, and a part of the school community.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Attend staff meetings as required.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Contribute to the school environment using techniques and strategies found within restorative practices guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Other duties as assigned.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">B.A/B.S degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field teaching</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Pennsylvania certification/private certification in teaching in appropriate subject area</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, and state</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Basic computer literacy</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>When applying to this position, please include your Standard PA Teaching Application, letter of interest, resume, current clearances and copy of PA Teaching Certification.</p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://bhaeducation.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/New-fillable-BHA-application.pdf\">Click Here to complete the Standard Application for Teaching Positions in PA</a></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 13px;\">BHA is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
