LSCG offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, matching 401K, and more.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Warehouse Associate is responsible for storing, issuing, and reconciling the inventory used by our Installation or construction field personnel.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to meet background requirements.</li><li>Knowledge of the telecommunications industry preferred</li><li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.</li><li>Ability to work in a team atmosphere</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively</li><li>Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines</li><li>Ability to make decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problems</li><li>Ability to prioritize and organize effectively</li><li>Ability to analyze and interpret data</li><li>Ability to effectively present information</li><li>Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure</li><li>Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties</li><li>Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs, and expectations</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office software, including Excel</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.</li><li>Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.</li><li>Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.</li><li>Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using the computer.</li><li>Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.</li><li>Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.</li><li>Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers based on information from incoming requisitions.</li><li>Provide assistance and or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.</li><li>Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors.</li><li>Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.</li><li>Keep records of the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.</li><li>Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.</li><li>Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.</li><li>Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs.</li><li>Prepare products, supplies, equipment, or other items for use by adjusting, repairing, or assembling them as necessary.</li><li>Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability.</li><li>Confer with engineering and purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability.</li><li>Purchase new or additional stock or prepare documents that are provided for such purchases.</li><li>Advise retail customers or internal users on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested.</li><li>Pickup and delivery – drive to different locations to pick up materials.
