Reads job order and assists in mounting specified rubber plate and printing dies on cylinder, assist installs cylinder on shaft, and secures assembly in bed of press.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions)</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Maintain safety on the machine.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Perform preventative maintenance of the machine and communicate any issue to supervisor or maintenance.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Complete daily schedule.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Die Cutter press operators can mount printing plates and cylinders into the printing press and fill the dye font with ink.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Die Cutter press operators can mount cutting dies onto the press.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Operators feed the Die Cutter graphic press with the material that is going to be printed on, so they can lift boxes of materials that can weigh at least 10 pounds and weigh over 100 pounds.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Die Cutter press operators must to able to read job orders that give them specific instructions on what the printing should look like.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Must make quality related decisions before passing the product onto the next operation</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; The operator is also responsible for cleaning the work area.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Other duties as assigned by manager as needed.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Raw or Finished Materials: corrugated board (all styles and thickness), inks, soaps, dies and attachment dies</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Tools and Machines Used: tape measure, utility knife, inks, printing dies, cutting dies, hand tools, tape, glues, staples, air hose, PH meter, zahn cup, brushes, calculator, PPE</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Hazards: dust, cleaning solutions, cuts</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Supervisory responsibilities: None</p>\r\n",
