Position Description
The Director of Academic Integrity and Resolution provides leadership and oversight for student academic performance processes, institutional policy governance, and compliance alignment across the University. Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs , this role ensures that community standards, resolution procedures, and institutional policies are implemented consistently, equitably, and in alignment with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
The Director oversees student academic performance issue resolution processes while also leading the review, coordination, and alignment of institutional policies, including program handbook provisions, catalog policies, and related governance documents. Experience with Title IX processes is strongly preferred, as the Director will collaborate with the Title IX Coordinator to support institutional compliance activities.

Summary
The Director serves as a key leader within the Office of the Provost responsible for advancing institutional integrity through coordinated student academic performance issue resolution, policy development, and compliance oversight. This position ensures that academic performance matters are addressed in a fair and consistent manner while strengthening institutional policy frameworks to align with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
This role integrates community standards administration with policy governance and compliance coordination, ensuring consistency across student-facing and academic policy documents.

Student Academic Issues & Community Resolution
Support preparation of required reports and compliance documentation Lead oversight of student academic issue resolution processes Manage intake, review, and resolution of student academic cases in alignment with institutional standards Ensure procedures are fair, consistent, and educational in nature Maintain case documentation and ensure procedural integrity Serve as a resource to academic leadership in complex academic student matters Institutional Policy Governance & Alignment
Lead systematic review and coordination of program handbook policies, catalog policies, and related academic governance documents Ensure consistency and alignment across institutional publications and procedural documents Partner with academic and administrative leadership to revise and update policies as needed Monitor regulatory and accreditation requirements and recommend policy updates accordingly Develop and maintain a centralized policy tracking and review process Compliance Coordination & Title IX Coordinator for Students
Serve as PAU’s Title IX Coordinator for students by supporting procedural alignment and documentation Assist in implementing policies related to civil rights compliance and reporting obligations Support compliance documentation and institutional reporting processes Monitor evolving regulatory guidance and assist in updating institutional policies Education, Training & Institutional Collaboration
Develop and deliver educational programming related to community standards, policy awareness, and reporting responsibilities Serve as liaison among Academic Affairs, Student Success, People Operations, and other units to ensure alignment of conduct and policy practices Contribute to institutional risk mitigation discussions and strategic planning efforts
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in higher education administration, public policy, law, counseling, or related field Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in student conduct, Title IX processes, compliance coordination, or institutional policy administration Demonstrated experience reviewing and revising policy documents Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting higher education Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Title IX processes Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory reporting Experience coordinating cross-departmental policy review cycles Background in conflict resolution or restorative practices
