    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We’re searching for an Anesthesia Technician Team Leader, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll be responsible for the coordination of clinical and clerical functions of all anesthetizing locations at our main campus and provide training and functions as a technician in a responsive and proactive manner.</p><p><br>Think you’ve got what it takes?&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</p><p>Assists anesthesiologist with preparation and placement of brain and nerve function monitors</p><p>Assists anesthesiologist during cases inside and outside the operating room</p><p>Prepares age-appropriate anesthesia equipment, monitors, and airway</p><p>Sets up, maintains and transports specialty devices used in the clinical area</p><p>Assist provider with transporting patients to and from anesthetizing location</p><p>Supervises the maintenance of anesthesia equipment</p><p>Acts as a department project leader, committee leader or specialty team leader</p><p>Participates in the development of information, programs, or projects for the division</p><p>May set up and troubleshoot the intra-aortic balloon pump per Departmental guidelines, if required</p><p>Ensures all staff are trained on all anesthesia equipment, troubleshooting and setup</p><p>Serves as a mentor/preceptor and completes preceptor training</p><p>Identifies performance improvement activities and facilitates projects to carry out improvement initiatives</p><p>Attends institutional and departmental health, safety, and infection control in-services by established deadlines</p><p>As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.</p><p><br>Skills &amp; Requirements</p><ul><li>H.S. diploma or GED required</li><li>BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by American Heart Association required in addition to one of the following &nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 40px;\">CER-A-T - Cert-Cert Anesthesia TECH by American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT)</p><p style=\"margin-left: 40px;\">Completion of an anesthesia technician training program approved by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT)</p><p style=\"margin-left: 40px;\">Associate’s degree in applied science in a healthcare field with 7 years of experience</p><ul><li>5 years of experience as an anesthesia technician required&nbsp;</li></ul>",
