Qualified candidates will be contacted when an opening/funding becomes available**</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>As a senior Software Developer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have an opporunity to do the following:\n<ul>\n <li>Support a Department of Justice program, who designs, builds and implements highly technical data collection systems.</li>\n <li>Support a technology lab who dynamically implements technology to meet their outside customers uniquely defined evidence collection needs.</li>\n <li>Serve as development expert in software engineering, with a primary focus Web GUI Development.</li>\n <li>Provide expertise in Stylesheets, Java Script ES6, HTML and HTML5 standup.</li>\n <li>Be proficient in the following programming languages: C/C++, JAVA Native Interface (JNI), JAVA, Database Connectivity (JDBC), Oracle Pro *C, Structured Query Language (SQL), and Visual Basic.</li>\n <li>Provide support in a variety of areas to include Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Digital Signal Processors (DSP), Windows devices Drivers, Embedded SQL, Video Transcoding, Bandwidth Aggregation, and OCR data processing.</li>\n <li>Provide leadership and research in advanced software engineering concepts. Provides solutions to highly complex problems of a specialized product or design development, with a wide range of projects or programs.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for requirements analysis, subsystem allocation, performance analysis, and system engineering leadership.</li>\n <li>Prepare reports as needed relating to assignments, as required. Maintains technical competence and state-of-the-art expertise in areas of technical specialization.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Top-Secret Clearance.</li>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance</li>\n <li>Serve as a senior Software Developer with expertise in software engineering, with a primary focus Web GUI Development.</li>\n <li>Experience with Stylesheets, jQuery, Java Script ES6, HTML and HTML5.</li>\n <li>Proficient in the following programming languages: C/C++, JAVA Native Interface (JNI), JAVA, Database Connectivity (JDBC), Oracle Pro *C, Structured Query Language (SQL), and Visual Basic.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in the administration and use of Azure DevOps.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in the administration and use of Azure DevOps helpful.</li>\n <li>Worked and supported development environment with regression testing capabilities.</li>\n <li>Provide support in a variety of areas to include Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Digital Signal Processors (DSP), Windows devices Drivers, Embedded SQL, Video Transcoding, Bandwidth Aggregation, and or OCR data processing.</li>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree (BS) with 8+ years of relevant experience or Associate's Degree (AS) with 10+ years relevant experience or High School/GED with 13+ years relevant experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EEO Statement</h2>EEO Race/Sex/Disability Status/Veteran Status",
