SUMMARY:
The Safety Intern performs routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures. This position reports to the Vice President of Safety.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compile safety reports
Update safety manuals
Coordinate safety equipment inventory and assessment data
Use a variety of software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe, in-house asset management SaaS, etc.)
Field work will be required
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
Completed courses as part of working towards a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or related field. Preferably, the individual will have credits corresponding to at least a college junior or senior.
Driver’s License with the ability to commute to/from Collins Milwaukee Office (exact work hours and days may be flexible).
