We have an in-house Architectural Finishes &amp; Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We are seeking an experienced Controller for our Pittsburgh office</span>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Running job cost meetings quarterly with personnel from various offices.  Generating division financials and reviewing results with each office.</li>\n<li>Performing account reconciliations.</li>\n<li>Maintaining the Work in Progress Schedule.</li>\n<li>Creating and entering journal entries to the general ledger.</li>\n<li>Creating financial statements.</li>\n<li>Performing tax preparation - payroll taxes, business privilege tax, sales/use tax etc.</li>\n<li>Work with various auditors – year end audit/payroll audits, sales and use tax audit, union, etc.</li>\n<li>Participate in meetings with senior executives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will need to be successful: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five (5) or more years of proven accounting experience</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.</li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of construction industry preferred but not required.</li>\n<li>Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel – Advanced Proficiency in Excel is a must ), working knowledge of computerized accounting systems (familiarity with COINS OA is a plus).</li>\n<li>Detail oriented and highly organized.</li>\n<li>Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks</li>\n<li>Ability to work well with others and manage teams of individuals.</li>\n<li>Ability to handle confidential information.</li>\n<li>Payroll knowledge</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Rycon Construction, Inc. we believe outstanding employees build the foundation necessary for excellence in business.
