Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>Greet customers promptly and provide courteous, professional service at all times.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Accurately scan, ring, and process customer purchases using point-of-sale (POS) systems.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Handle cash, checks, credit/debit cards, EBT, and other approved payment methods with accuracy.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and follow cash-handling procedures.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Bag groceries carefully and efficiently, following product handling guidelines.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Assist customers with questions regarding pricing, products, promotions, and store policies.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Verify customer identification for age-restricted purchases when required.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor pricing accuracy and report discrepancies to supervision.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Follow loss prevention and safety procedures.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Abide by all Island Market procedures and safety standards.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Perform any and all other assigned tasks.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Understand that this job description is a fair representation of the duties and does not include all aspects of the position.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul>",
