Overview Catholic Community Services of Western Washington and the Archdiocesan Housing Authority (doing business as Catholic Housing Services and Coordinated Care Agency) are outreaches of the Catholic Church in Western Washington. Matt Talbot Center is a licensed outpatient substance use provider within the King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Division. Our purpose is to assist adults living with substance use disorders to improve their quality of life. Our clients may be homeless or struggling to maintain their housing; living in poverty; or may be challenged with mental illnesses in addition to their addictions. The incumbent is expected to actively represent and promote CCS values and principles. Work includes flexibility in work hours and may include on-call responsibilities. Benefits & Compensation Starting at $37.85 - $42.11/hour (D.O.E.) with a competitive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Generous paid time off (PTO), paid sick time, 15 days of paid vacations 12 days of paid holidays, plus one (1) personal holiday CCS/AHA 403(b) Employee Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Responsibilities Access to Services: Respond to screen incoming requests walk-in urgent crises or issues that arise from existing or potential clients as they appear in the building. Supervise and coordinate assigned activities of clinical staff: Provide active coaching and supervision for clinical practice and job duties to staff Carry a caseload of 5-10 clients: Provide and facilitate the provision of a range of therapeutic responses that support the overall direction for the client. Community liaison/advocacy: Represent CCS and the Matt Talbot Center at fundraising events, community activities, meetings with funders, and educational programs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Active Substance Use Disorder Professional credential in good standing with the WA Department of Health (formerly, CDP) At least one year’s experience in working with adults experiencing homelessness. 2+ year clinical supervisory experience and 30 documented hours in clinical supervision training Must be strength-based and solution-focused. Pass background check through Washington State Patrol. Preferred Qualifications: Meet or exceed criteria for a Mental Health Professional (Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, or related degree with 2 + years of relevant experience). Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, stand, reach stoop, talk and hear or otherwise perform any number of physical activities that may be required in completing daily tasks. Continuing Education Requirements: Must attend annual mandatory in-service and education programs. Must complete education required for maintenance of professional certification or licensure if applicable. Note to Internal Candidates: HR reviews internal compensation and determines any increase based on their experience and also agency internal equity factors.
