This position may include opportunity to travel on occasion.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5</strong></p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-top: 0in;\"><li>Manage all assigned jobs through Oasis (proposals, job progress, job notifications, invoicing, documentation of test data, reporting, job closure)</li><li>Learn test standards and test procedures (e.g., AAMA, ASTM, NFPA, etc.)</li><li>Review and thoroughly understand contract requirements, and obtain authorization for and document any deviations</li><li>Coordinate test schedule with equipment schedule and other department testing</li><li>Set-up/mount and perform standard and advanced/specialty tests on building products in accordance with referenced specifications and procedures</li><li>Analyze test results and write accurate and concise test reports that summarize the test procedures and results</li><li>Communicate with clients regarding test preparation, procedures, and results</li><li>Write test report and assist department admin in invoicing for all assigned projects</li><li>Maintain tools and equipment; inventory supplies; maintain cleanliness of work area</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-top: 0in;\"><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>General construction/carpentry knowledge and experience using power tools</li><li>Must be technically competent to understand and communicate test procedures, specifications,</li><li>&nbsp;and results and possess a mechanical aptitude</li><li>Physical ability to routinely lift 50 pounds</li><li>Physical ability to sit, stand, crouch, bend, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, push, pull, etc. as required to perform job duties</li><li>Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Strong communication skills – both written and oral</li><li>Good computer skills using Word and Excel and technical competence for use of lab equipment and tools</li><li>Ability to travel as business needs dictate, 15% of the time or less</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-top: 0in;\"><li>Degree in a technical field desired, or equivalent related experience</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
