$18.50 TO $19.50 per hour

Position Overview
The Packager is responsible for all aspects of preparing raw materials for production processing and/or helping package finished goods to be put away into the finished goods inventory. This person must be able to multitask, provide quick responses/solutions to unforeseen production problems, and must always exhibit a professional, efficient demeanor.
Job Responsibilities
Remove raw materials from packaging to gondolas and complies with USDA standards for handling materials. Fill / label / seal / palletize cartons of finished product. Uses TI station to label product appropriately and to complete any necessary inventory transactions and adjustments.
Education
High School education or equivalent work experience
Qualifications
Minimal High School or GED 1-year experience in a Food Processing environment Advanced knowledge of GMP’s; HACCP Certified
Preferred Qualifications
2 to 4 years’ experience with Meat Processing USDA Trained Bilingual in Spanish/English
