This role is key in helping students build the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to successfully transition to college, career, and independent living.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Develop, implement, and oversee the school’s vocational and career development curriculum.</p></li>\n <li><p>Teach career exploration and development courses that prepare students for postsecondary success.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide individual career and college counseling, helping students identify interests and pathways.</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate college preparatory testing (SAT, ACT) and assist students in navigating application processes.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain and manage a comprehensive career and college resource library.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support vocational teachers with curriculum design, implementation, and oversight.</p></li>\n <li><p>Plan and coordinate the annual graduation ceremony.</p></li>\n <li><p>Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment that supports learning, safety, and Stetson’s <strong>Culture of Recovery</strong> philosophy.</p></li>\n <li><p>Apply behavior management techniques that promote positive reinforcement and student growth.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in school and agency meetings and trainings to support collaboration and continuous improvement.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.</p></li>\n <li><p>Moderate Disabilities (5–12) License required</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Commitment to fostering student growth, dignity, and respect in all interactions.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Stetson School?</strong>As part of Seven Hills Foundation, Stetson School offers a collaborative and mission-driven environment where educators can make a lasting impact on students’ lives.
