    "description": "<p>Editorial Writer<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Skills: Editorial writing, copy editing, transcription<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>About the job:<br>The editorial writer will report to the managing editor and focus on researching and writing content for Rapaport’s online news site and magazine. Rapaport Group is a leading provider of information to the global diamond and jewelry industry.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Writing and editing news articles and features<br></li>\n<li>Researching information for upcoming stories and analyses<br></li>\n<li>Conducting and transcribing interviews and podcasts as needed<br></li>\n<li>Uploading content to the Rapaport.com website<br></li>\n<li>Coordinating with members of the editorial team to ensure a smooth workflow<br></li>\n<li>Finding images and other supplementary materials for news and feature articles<br></li>\n<li>Liaising with other Rapaport teams, including marketing and sales<br></li>\n<li>Providing support for current and future editorial projects, including Rapaport Magazine, the Rapaport Research</li>\n<li>Report, podcasts, videos, newsletters and social media<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-5 years of experience in digital and print editorial writing</li>\n<li>Fluent spoken and written English in addition to native language where applicable</li>\n<li>Experience in a journalistic environment</li>\n<li>Prior experience with interviewing subjects for stories<br></li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<br></li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a collaborative setting, but also to work independently<br></li>\n<li>High-level organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail<br></li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills<br></li>\n<li>Preferable: Experience with WordPress, Microsoft SharePoint and Adobe Suite<br></li>\n<li>Knowledge of the diamond and jewelry industry a plus<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a full-time position.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>About the Rapaport Group:<br>The Rapaport Group is an international network of companies providing added-value services that support the development of ethical, transparent, competitive and efficient diamond and jewelry markets.
