We are looking for an Architect - Agentic AI who will design and own the technical architecture of our agentic AI platform and AgentOS — the system for building, deploying, and orchestrating autonomous agents at enterprise scale. You will make the foundational design decisions that determine how agents reason, communicate, access tools, and operate reliably across JAGGAER's procurement platform. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where your architecture will power products used by some of the largest enterprises in the world.</p>\n<h2>Principal Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Principal Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Agentic AI Architecture & Vision: Define the technical architecture, design principles, and reference patterns for agentic AI capabilities and AgentOS across JAGGAER's platform. Identify high-impact opportunities where agents can replace manual procurement workflows and design the system blueprints to realize them.</li>\n <li>AgentOS Platform Architecture: Architect the end-to-end technical stack for AgentOS — the platform that enables customers and internal teams to build, deploy, monitor, and manage AI agents at scale. Own the design of agent orchestration, tooling APIs, observability pipelines, and governance frameworks.</li>\n <li>Design State-of-the-Art Agent Systems: Lead the technical design of core agent capabilities — including multi-step reasoning, tool use, memory, planning, and human-in-the-loop workflows. Define system contracts, data flows, and integration patterns that enable Engineering and AI/ML teams to deliver reliably at scale.</li>\n <li>Technical Discovery & Requirements Translation: Deeply understand enterprise procurement workflows and their technical constraints. Collaborate with Product Management on customer discovery and translate business requirements into scalable architectural designs, system specifications, and technical roadmaps.</li>\n <li>Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the senior technical authority for agentic AI across Engineering, Data Science, and Platform teams. Drive architectural reviews, establish coding and design standards, and mentor engineers on building robust, production-grade agent systems.</li>\n <li>Technology Evaluation & Innovation: Stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI/LLM/Agent ecosystem. Evaluate emerging technologies (foundation models, agent frameworks, RAG architectures, vector databases, inference optimization) and make build-vs-buy-vs-partner recommendations with detailed technical assessments.</li>\n <li>Architecture Communication: Communicate architectural decisions, technical trade-offs, and system roadmaps clearly to executive leadership, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners. Represent JAGGAER's agentic AI technical vision in customer-facing architecture reviews and industry forums.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Position Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong><u>Position Requirements:</u></strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Architecture & Engineering Experience: 8+ years of software engineering or architecture experience, with at least 3 years designing AI/ML systems, distributed platforms, or enterprise-scale infrastructure. Track record of owning and delivering complex system architectures from concept to production.</li>\n   <li>AI/LLM & Agent Expertise: Deep hands-on expertise with large language models, AI agents, agentic architectures, RAG, function calling/tool use, multi-agent orchestration, and the broader AI infrastructure stack. You must be able to write and review code, design systems end-to-end, and make definitive technical decisions on architecture trade-offs.</li>\n   <li>Enterprise Systems Design: Experience architecting systems for enterprise-grade reliability, security, and scale. Understanding of procurement, supply chain, or source-to-pay workflows is a strong plus.</li>\n   <li>Architectural Thinking: Ability to translate business goals into technical vision, define a multi-quarter architecture roadmap, and make crisp prioritization decisions under ambiguity. Comfort with zero-to-one system design and evolving architectures as requirements mature.</li>\n   <li>Execution & Delivery: Proven ability to drive engineering teams to deliver on time while maintaining architectural integrity. Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and tools (JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent).</li>\n   <li>Performance & Reliability Engineering: Strong focus on system performance, latency optimization, and using observability data to drive design improvements. Experience defining and tracking architectural KPIs — uptime, throughput, latency, and error rates.</li>\n   <li>Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present architectural proposals to C-suite executives, lead technical design reviews, and write clear architecture decision records (ADRs) and system design documents.</li>\n   <li>Bonus: Hands-on experience with agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen), LLM serving infrastructure (vLLM, TGI, TensorRT-LLM), cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, microservices, event-driven systems), or building developer platforms/APIs.
