    "description_html": "<h2>Fiber Optic Technician– Austin</h2><p><strong>Join a fast-moving team building and maintaining high-quality fiber networks.</strong> We’re hiring a Fiber Optic Technician who can work safely, troubleshoot confidently, and deliver clean installs that meet spec—every time.</p><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li><p>Pull, route, dress, and secure fiber (aerial/underground/inside plant as needed)</p></li><li><p>Perform fiber splicing (fusion) and/or assist with splicing activities (based on experience level)</p></li><li><p>Read prints/maps and document work completed (as-builts, photos, test results)</p></li><li><p>Maintain jobsite safety, tools, vehicle cleanliness, and material accountability</p></li><li><p>Communicate progress, issues, and next steps with supervisors/PMs</p></li></ul><h3>What We’re Looking For (Required)</h3><ul><li><p><strong>1+ year</strong> experience in fiber construction/installation (or similar telecom field work)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with fiber cable types, connectors, and standard installation practices</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working outdoors and in varying conditions</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift <strong>up to 50 lbs</strong>, climb ladders, and work in trenches/confined spaces (as applicable)</p></li><li><p>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (or company vehicle use, if provided)</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures</p></li></ul><h3>Preferred (Nice to Have)</h3><ul><li><p>Fiber splicing experience (fusion) and enclosure build-outs</p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong>OSP</strong> (aerial/underground) and/or <strong>ISP</strong> (inside plant/data centers)</p></li><li><p>OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, bucket truck or lift experience</p></li></ul><h3>Schedule & Travel</h3><ul><li>Schedule: <strong>Mon–Fri / day</strong></li><li>(Per diem available if applicable)</li></ul><h3>Pay </h3><ul><li><p>Pay: <strong>$30/hr</strong> (based on experience) + overtime opportunities</p></li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer:</strong> We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.</p><p>Our client is an EEOC Employer and encourages all minority groups to apply. </p>\n\n<p>By applying to this job, as part of our typical recruiting process, from time to time, we may contact you regarding positions that we feel are a good fit for you or engage with you during the recruiting process via SMS text message.
