The position will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the New England area and will provide leadership and client development specifically in water resources engineering, watershed planning, construction management, civil infrastructure design, and permitting. This team of professionals comes together to create innovated design solutions for our public-sector clients utilizing nature-based solutions to improve infrastructure, address water quality issues and mitigate for climate impacts such as flooding. Projects may include: stormwater control retrofits; green infrastructure; land and water resource development and planning; stream and streambank restoration; wetland and buffer restoration; hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; drainage and stormwater studies; and stormwater management permitting including MS4 compliance programs.<br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform, manage, and oversee engineering on stormwater planning and design projects</li><li>Technical design lead on concurrent projects</li><li>Recommend solutions to engineering issues</li><li>Manage projects including scope, budget and schedules for detailed engineering planning, design, review and contract documents. Continue project management through construction phases including construction oversight</li><li>Provide responsive client service through strong and prompt communication</li><li>Lead/Mentor young professionals Perform business development and manage project pursuits</li><li>Collaborate across internal disciplines and office locations</li><li>Properly scope, schedule and budget assignments/projects</li><li>Continue to broaden technical skills within the chosen discipline</li><li>Lead team, client and public meetings</li></ul><p>Preferred location is BETA’s Norwood office.
