The Houseperson is responsible for responding to the needs of housekeepers, management, dispatch and guest service calls. The houseperson must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials. They will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The houseperson will always conduct them self in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort:<em>Trust, </em><em>Open & Honest Communication, and </em><em>Commitment. </em>The houseperson shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. Housemen will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides prompt response to all service calls</li>\n <li>Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor. </li>\n <li>Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment</li>\n <li>Responsible for delivery of requested guest items</li>\n <li>Keeps van/houseman vehicles stocked and orderly at all times</li>\n <li>Responds to any applicable guest or housekeeping request as needed</li>\n <li>Receives and stores incoming supplies accurately and promptly</li>\n <li>Maintains effective organization, layout, cleanliness, security, upkeep and maintenance of all storage closets and facilities</li>\n <li>Keeps accurate and legible records of all services</li>\n <li>Provides accurate key control and effective security for vehicle keys</li>\n <li>Maintains complete and effective ongoing stocking of all vans with linen and supplies</li>\n <li>Helps maintain a clean and safe working environment in the housekeeping department</li>\n <li>Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.).</li>\n <li>Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest</li>\n <li>Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events</li>\n <li>Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information</li>\n <li>Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests</li>\n <li>Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude </li>\n <li>Communicates all pertinent information to the housekeeping team</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Prior hospitality experience preferred</li>\n <li>One year of customer service experience required</li>\n <li>Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License and meet company driving standards</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment </li>\n <li>Must always ensure a teamwork environment</li>\n <li>Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs, frequently up to 50lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#SunriverResort</p>",
