Our technicians dispatch from home daily and are only required to report to our Midlothian office on Wednesday mornings for team meetings, training, and communication.</p><p>You do not need to live near Midlothian to be considered. We are open to qualified technicians throughout the DFW Metroplex who are professional, reliable, and able to serve customers in our service area.</p><p>If you are a skilled technician who takes pride in quality work, honest recommendations, and great customer service, we would like to talk with you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>As an HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems. You will work directly with homeowners to provide professional service, clear communication, and trusted solutions.</li><li>Perform residential HVAC service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs</li><li>Troubleshoot common and complex HVAC system issues</li><li>Complete system performance evaluations and preventive maintenance inspections</li><li>Identify needed repairs and communicate findings clearly with homeowners</li><li>Provide honest recommendations based on system condition and customer needs</li><li>Maintain accurate paperwork, invoices, and service documentation</li><li>Work safely and follow all company and industry safety standards</li><li>Communicate with managers, dispatch, and team members as needed</li><li>Participate in a team-based environment focused on customer satisfaction</li><li>Work overtime, on-call, and weekends as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>2 to 6 years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience</li><li>EPA certification required</li><li>Valid TDLR card required</li><li>Valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record</li><li>Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC equipment</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage assigned calls efficiently</li><li>Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 75 pounds</li><li>Ability to complete a pre-employment drug test and background check</li><li>NATE certification is a plus, but not required</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, dental and vision insurance</li><li>FSA with debit card</li><li>Employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)</li><li>$20K in life insurance and $20K AD&amp;D insurance</li><li>401(k) employer match</li><li>Paid Vacation</li><li>PTO</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Annualized reviews for merit increases</li><li>Potential for advancement</li></ul><p>About Our Company: Texas Ace Heating &amp; Air is the premier heating, and air-conditioning company located in Midlothian, Texas, serving all of the <strong>Dallas / Fort Worth</strong> area and surrounding cities.
