          "text": "<p>As a&#xa0;<u>Union Journeyman Electrician,</u>&#xa0;you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with local and national electrical codes. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments.</p><p><strong>Journeyman Electrician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Installation and Maintenance: Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.</li><li>Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems in a timely and efficient manner. Identify and rectify issues with wiring, circuits, fuses, and other components.</li><li>Code Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local and national electrical codes and regulations. Keep up to date with any changes in codes or standards.</li><li>Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems and components.</li><li>Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.</li><li>Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate effectively with other team members, contractors, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including work orders, equipment inspections, and materials used.</li><li>Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in electrical technology, tools, and equipment. Attend relevant training and professional development sessions as required.</li></ul>",
