Assists with traffic only where children/pedestrians are involved. Ensures all traffic is at a complete stop before children/pedestrians can enter the crosswalk or intersection. Enters the street before others to gain control of oncoming traffic by using a stop sign and whistle. Looks in the direction of the children/pedestrians and motions them to proceed into the crosswalk after control of the traffic is maintained. Engages and disengages flashing school zone lights.</span><br><br><br>&nbsp;</p>",
