This role involves delivering person-centered care, supporting daily living activities, personal care (PC), and home management (HM).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Location: Hutt Valley - Upper Hutt </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities may include: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Working closely with our Service Users to provide support as they go about their daily tasks</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assisting with complex personal care </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assisting with household management and meal preparation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Supporting exercise programmes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assisting with accessing the community</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Bowel, Bladder, and Catheter Care</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Moving and handling hoists and manual transfers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Medication support</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support the Service Users in achieving positive goals in their lives and contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintaining the Service User’s safety and well-being.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employment Type: Permanent <span>Part-Time (Up to 29 Hours)</span></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Days of work:</span> As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved, including am, pm, and weekend shifts. <br></p>\n<p><span>The role also requires availability for sleepovers and weekend shifts. </span>The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Hours required:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday to Friday: 9:30am – 10:30am and 8:00pm – 9:00pm</li>\n<li>Saturday: 10:30am – 11:30am and 8:00pm – 9:00pm</li>\n<li>Sunday: 9:00am – 10:00am and 8:00pm – 9:00pm<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About you | He momo</span></p>\n<p><span>You are a calm under pressure, but confident-natured individual who can demonstrate resilience and understand the challenges of our service users. There are many responsibilities associated with being a support worker which can be challenging and fulfilling.
